Cairns Police Citizens Youth Club - After School Care
Cairns PCYC has been running it's after school care program for the last 9 years and currently service 11 schools within the area. The service has recently become licenced and accredited with the National Child Care Accreditation Council.
The Cairns PCYC is licenced for up to 100 children. Our Whitfield State School outside school care service is licensed for up to 75 children and our Cairns West State School 55.

Hours of Operation:
The After School Care Program operates Monday to Friday
from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm excluding Public Holidays. Whitfield and Cairns West 3 :00pm to 6:00pm Age:
We accept school age children for our after school care
program. Unfortunately, our insurance coverage prevents us
from looking after children outside this age group.
Costs:
Or booking fee is $15.50 per day per child, including afternoon
tea. Once a child is enrolled the parent or guardian is responsible
for the accounts and needs to notify us of non-attendance
prior to 1pm. (Note accounts must be paid in full each week.
Payment is applicable whether the child attends or not.)
Other Costs:
A late fee will be charged to cover staff wages if children
are picked up after 6:00pm. |
