Aikido
Aikido is a highly refined martial art developed last century in Japan. Aikido requires no advantage in strength or speed because it takes advantage of the energy of an attacker. The moral appeal of Aikido arises from a pure defensive objective to control rather than destroy or injure an opponent. Aikido has been practiced successfully at PCYC for many years by people of all ages and abilities. It is affiliated internationally with Aikido Yuishinkai.
